Wrong diagnosis by Dr?

Dr told my Daughter that she had pancreatic cancer, now three weeks later it is her gall bladder instead. Can this Dr be sure for scaring the crap out of her? Michigan Mom asking.

Instead of blaming doctor, who is incompetent, prudent to see a gebneral surgeon for accurte diagnosis and for II opinion.

The best /diagnosis/remedy lies with a general surgeon.

    6. Why?

Prudent* to see a general surgeon*/local homeopath [for less costs]/dermatologist for physical examination, relevant investigations, accurate diagnosis and permanent cure by medication and or surgical interference

Because, in all chronic issues with complicated & confusing symptoms-involving many organs, I prefer a General Surgeon, who shall be accurate in arriving at the right diagnosis by pin-pointing the affected organ[s]/tissues and ensures fast relief with surgical interference.

Much before the advent of super-specialties like nuero/pediatric/cardiac/renal/gynec/brai... gastro-enterology, oncology, and ENT etc., all these surgeries were conducted by general surgeons. Hence, a Surgeon’s approach is most appropriate and accurate. A good surgeon suggests cheapest and accurate diagnostic investigations only to ensure permanent cure.

Whereas, for all acute problems/issues, a physician hits the symptoms/diseases with say, 10 stones/medicines with the hope that a few stones may hit with dramatic relief. But, it does work in many cases & with ‘no side effects’.

She told me that her lady dr said she had pancreatic cancer. Because of the location of the pain and 35 pound weight loss in less than three months. Then ordered the scan. Very unprofessional if not illegal.

Her doctor is an idiot. They won't just tell her before they order a scan, it is obvious she was quick to judge. Did she tell her this after or before the scan? If it was After the scan, than yes you can sue her. The scan will tell them the truth.

If you meant, sue, then no she can't and she wouldn't be told she had any cancer without scans and a biopsy.

Mistakes happen. She probably said there was a strong chance of it being pancreatic cancer and your daughter misunderstood.

BTW, cancer is diagnosed via biopsies.
