Memorial, will you obey Christ?

“Keep doing this in remembrance of me.” (Luke 22:19) Jesus commanded that we commemorate his death, and every year millions of people gather with Jehovah’s Witnesses to observe this important event. We invite you to attend with us this year. To find a location near you, look under ABOUT US > MEMORIAL.

Well the question is, will you obey Christ? The word he used is "doing", not watching others do it. This is a classic example of Jehovah's Witnesses taking a scripture and only applying a portion of it.

just like the comments we see from Jehovah's Witnesses that say, "we knock the dust off our shoes when someone does not want to listen". Well he went further with that. He also said if the city does not listen to knock the dust... and move on to the next.

But no, the jws keep on even though Christ said not to. They fight in court, they go to prison for handing out literature. instead of saying, ok this city does not want us or just stop handing out the literature and start using the Bible only. but wait is there a reason why they persist in handing out literature knowing the law says to stop handing out literature? why not just use the Bible? is it because the JW's cannot show their teachings in the Bible?

This is a vain statement you make, are you one of the 12 apostles chosen by Jesus. Jesus commanded Only the 12 apostles to do this. Jesus did not command and of his 70 other disciples, or anyone else to do this except the 12 apostles and according to what you believe they are all DEAD.

Reported for JW cult spam. I do OBEY Christ BY PARTAKING of communion. Jws arent even under the New Covenant so there memorial is useless...plus they believe it was michael the archangel who died for us...

I always try to obey Christ. Question: Do you? I'm afraid not.

And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

Who did He give His body for? You? Did Jesus die for your sin? He certainly did. And He says, "This is my body, which is given for YOU. Do this in remembrance of ME."

And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.

Who did Jesus shed His blood for? You? Of course.

You should be partaking if you have any faith whatsoever in what Jesus did. For YOU. Because He commands that we do this and remember Him for what He did for us. All of us.

Please stop listening to those people that keep you cut off from God and this sacrifice. You reject Jesus and His body and His blood willingly by listening to them rather than Jesus. That's a very bad idea.

By the way, this violates the Yahoo guidelines because advertisement of a religion is not what Yahoo Answers is for.

We don't interpret that verse in that same way. But we always do our best to obey him.

Sorry, I prefer to avoid meeting with cultists. According to the Bible, you preach a gospel that is the spirit of antichrist.
