Is my boyfriend going to ask me to prom?
At my school, getting asked to prom is a big deal. even when you're going as friends, people come up with cute "prom-posals" and such to get their dates.
Today is Tuesday, this Saturday is my one year anniversary with my boyfriend, and next Saturday is the prom. I'm going out of town tomorrow night, and I'm sort of worried that he won't ask me. we're already going together, as that's a given, but we've talked about it and I let him know that to me, the effort it takes to come up with something creative means a lot, and that I wanted him to ask me.
that all being said, I'm not sure what to think. I need advice from another guy! is he going to ask me? or should I just assume that he won't do anything elaborate? thank you!

If he is thoughtful and understands how you feel, he will ask you to prom. However, he really might not understand how important this is to you, and might really not think it is at all important to ask you. So you obviously know him and we don't. It really depends on the kind of person he is. Most guys want to please their girlfriends, so if he figures out that you want him to ask you, most likely he will.
