My doorbell just rang?

why dont u look out your window or your peephole to see who it is? it could be your next door neighbor, it could be anyone. Maybe install a peephole next time.

If u live in a bad area, then it could eb someone bad. but if you don't, most likely chances are they're not bad people.

Heres a story: My parents were beaten and robbed by some racist black kids. They were caught and sent to prison. Then 4 yrs later, they're released. A month after their release, they sent 3 of their family members to our apartment, armed with knives and tried to kick our door down. They kicked our door for 15 minutes before the cops came. They left before cops came. Knife marks were all over my door, my phone line was broken(they cut it just in case so that we couldn't call the cops), one of our locks were permanently dmaged, screw driver marks all over my door.

Prior to this we also had 8 months of strange women knocking on our door at strange hours like 12-1 am at night.

After this, i caught them try to use a screw driver to bust out our locks to break in while we're all sleeping at 2am in the morning.

But this is all because i live in a really bad neighborhood. if u live in an ok or good neighborhood, u don't need to be scared.

Look through a window

Don't open the door to a stranger.

If you are home alone... and you know/trust the neighbors, give them a call.

Lol, just go see who it is. Prolly just someone at the wrong house, or doing a survey.
