Getting a puppy is a really good idea and if you take the red cross babysitters course then you have a big advantage. I am also 14 and I have gotton more jobs because of it. I also have business cards and flyers. DO NOT HAND THEM OUT TO STRANGERS! Give them to your teachers or the parents with kids at your church. Depending on where you live or not depends on your rates. I live in a small town area. So i charge 5$ an hour and $2.50 for each extra kid. So if i babysit 3 kids for 4 hours then i get $40. In a big city area you gotta google it. Hope this helps

Try what Amanda said or babysit for a friend and or relative. Do you have the means to support a kid at your age? I know that it's natural instinct to want a baby and it doesn't help that society tells you (16 and pregnant) that it's cool to have a kid young but do you have a stable partner? Try doing things in order first. Luckily, time is on your hands and you should just focus on school and hanging out at the mall. Why babies? at 14?

Find somewhere you can babysit. At your church. People your parents know. Friends of relatives. Ask around or even put little flyers in mailboxes in your neighborhood. Maybe, you can go to your local church and help in the kid's or baby area.

Hormones can be strong, but you need to find kids to babysit.

You might also try to help with the 4-H clubs or the YMCA; help tutor kids at elementary schools, etc.

    Use the time to prepare.

Research childcare and practice good parenting behaviour in your every day life. Patience, understanding etc. You are as you say wayy to young for a baby, but investing your time wisely cant be a bad thing can it?
