I have a problem. My wife is over-weight. Not just a little, I mean she is one big momma. It's kind of a turn off. How do I tell her?

Start sharing the cooking (and only serve up low fat, low sugar foods). Invite her on a daily walk lasting, at first, quarter of an hour, increased to 30 minutes. Start off slow, but increase the speed. Later, when she's much fitter, begin jogging. You don't have to say anything; just do it. She'll start to enjoy being healthy, fit and slim again.

Don't tell her. "Fat" is almost the worst thing a woman can hear about herself, especially from her husband. Can you imagine if she came home one day, and said, "You have no muscles whatsoever and you're incredibly weak. Please go to the gym, it's a turn off for me." I don't want to rant to you--I understand that it must be frustrating to possibly no longer be as attracted to your wife as you were before--but it isn't fair of you to make her weight a priority of hers. For all you know, she could be (and probably is) trying to lose some weight. Maybe you can start going on hikes on the weekends?

Don't hold back to tell her to loose weight. If you guys want to have children, or even healthy ones, you can't have an obese or over weight mother. You want the best for your kids, for your kids not to have a risk of being obese when growing up.

Give her goals and be like I will take you too Disney land if you and I can stick with the gym for 3 months or something.

Don't be rude about it, but don't hold back

Same like the other answer, both of you should go to a gym and workout, don't just target her.

Just tell her like it is . . You want her to lose weight. And make sure you help her. Let her know that you are willing to motivate her.
