Howcome it is so easy to help others, but not one's self?

We can only help others because we have an understanding of what they've gone through. Because we don't have the experiences we often need to help ourselves we lack what we need.

Another reason is that when we help others we're seeing things differently than they're seeing things. We don't have the same feelings or the same level of feeling they're experiencing.
