My Pick 3 numbers was 403. 430 came out. I played $1 box and $1 straight. How much money did I win?

You won the payout for $1 box. Whatever that amount is for your state. In my state, that payout would be $83.00.
You saw my post to your other question. I read and answered that question first. Allow me to add on to that answer here by using this exact example.
Let's say your state pays out exactly the same as my state and you end up getting $83.00. The CHANCE of hitting a 3-digit number with 3 different digits is about 1 out of 167. For a $1.00 ticket, you SHOULD have been paid about $167.00 to be a fair payout.
Instead, they are only giving you half of the fair payout value. About half!
Worth repeating - At a 50% payback rate, no other standard form of gambling on the planet comes even close to being as bad a bet as the lottery.
Congratulations on your win. You can't help but feel good about the extra cash. Just understand that if you continue to buy these tickets, you will give the lottery company about twice as much money as you ever win. Maybe a bit more if you get unlucky. Maybe a bit less if you're very lucky, but even then it's a near certainty that you will pay them a lot more than they ever pay you - no matter how lucky you are. You just can't beat a game with a 50% payback rate.

1.40 Breedj 2.10 Cool Strike 2.40 Manifest (Nap) Reserve: 3.10 Hafawa Edit: Well done 'Over 2 U' for winning the compy. For what it's worth, can I just say that this is meant to be a light-hearted competition and we should thank Jac for running it? If people are going to start getting over-serious about it, then I think that Jac is fully entitled not to run another compy again. Racing is all about opinions, I've had many an occasion in the past where I've conflicted with the opinions of friends of mine but we don't fall out about it and we certainly don't throw our toys out of the pram. Let's have a bit of common sense. Thanks again Jac for running this competition. Much appreciated.
