My Friend lost my phone .. what do i do ?

long story short, i left my phone on the benches at school so my friend took it home and said she would give it to be after spring break (it was on a friday) so i believed her. the whole weekend i was excited only to find out that she "lost" it today. this isnt the first time she has lost my stuff either. what do i do ? should i make her pay the price for it ? she asked me for the password the day she took it home and said she wanted to look at the photos , so i trusted her and gave her the pattern code. i cannot locate it since i dont have a tracking app installed. it also isnt connected to the internet either. Please help me. I am very disappointed in my friend and my parents are very disappointed in me. probably the last time i'll ever get a phone.

Okay, I don't think she just wanted to take pictures! Doesn't she have a phone to take pictures with? A camera? She just used that excuse!

I don't want to start a fight between you and your friend, but I don't think she's honest with you. Did you tell your parents that she asked for your password? if you haven't do tell them. Also tell your parents to discuss this with her parents. They should know what their daughter did. And yes, she should pay for your phone or get you a new one (the same phone or a better one).

And things can't get worse, so don't be afraid to tell everything about this to your parents.

Tell her she has to pay for it, even if $5 at a time, she needs to start paying it back or get $ from her parents to pay it back. Why the heck did you give that to her? I wouldn't give it to anyone.
