is it illegal to film a cop in illinois?
i have a go pro and if i ever get stopped i wanna be able to keep my gopro running i read an article saying the bill was made then another saying it is legal to film them and a other saying the bill was not signed to make it illegal

99.9% of police officers do not mind if you record them stopping you with either film or audio. Just do as the officer tells you and if you disagree then take it to court, do no try to argue with him on the side of the road, you will not win. You might stand a chance in front of a judge but not on the road.

Actually, in Chicago it is technically illegal. However, this is probably a law that is just waiting to be challenged in court.
