I have a nikon 3200 and I cant find anywhere what max sd card size it can take. Could I put a 128gb in it?

    I don't use anything bigger than 8GB. A 4GB card is big enough in most cases.

    NEVER use a memory card as a storage device.

    Using a large size card is just asking for problems.

    If the manual says SD only, get at most 2GB. If it says SDHC or SDXC, get as much as you can afford. 8GB is too much already for most users if all they do is take pictures.

    Page 177 of the manual. It gives full details on the types and sizes the camera can use.
