What do you do about an expired AVG license number?

So I bought AVG Antivirus 2015 from Best Buy, I installed it today but I don't think it was installed properly the first time. The reason is because it showed "Web protected", but it didn't show "Identity protected", "Email protected", "Computer protected", etc. so I uninstalled it, then I tried to reinstall it only to find out that the license number to the one I bought had expired. How could it expire if I used it for the first time? Doesn't make any sense.

    Whatever antivirus software you had before this, did you uninstall it & use their Uninstaller Tool. The tool is necessary to remove left over files & Registry Keys(Some manual removal is warrantied, tool misses a few)

    without doing this you stand a chance of a new install failing @ Software conflicts
