Can you tell a difference between freshmen (grade 9) and sophomores (grade 10)?
Aren't the freshmen supposedly still acting like 6th graders, running around in the hallways (only some) and the sophomores are arrogant know-it-alls who think they know EVERYTHING ABOUT high school ? I saw answers like this on here , and no rude comments

You've experienced so much by sophomore year that you tend to mature. You're not as hyper for the most part, you don't giggle at everything, you're not a fool in the hallways, etc

That's pretty much the way it was at my high school. After a year in, the sophomores definitely felt a kind of superiority largely because they knew the turf and had settled in, so to speak. The freshman acted uncomfortable. My situation was unusual. We didn't have a 9th grade at the high school. It was still part of middle school. They only started putting 9th into high school when I started high school in 10th, so I technically was never a freshman myself.

Well sophomore does literally translate in the Greek to "wise foolish". And freshman are just a getting accustomed to being in a more mature environment. They've been in middle for three years for Peres sake.

UPDATE FROM ASKER: Oh by the way I've heard that's there's no difference between the two because they're only one year apart and they act the same .
