Let's just say your not gonna have a lot of fun with e V6 muscle car. Especially ones from the early 2000s, when V8 models put how what V6 models do today.
Get the camaro if you must. You never want a low mileage old car. Way too many thing that could go wrong cause the owner never had to replace it. Think of it as buying a 12 year old car, untouched, with 41,000 miles. Compared to a 15 year old car, that probably has all of the common issues fixed already.

I prefer the Ford over the Chevy regardless of the price difference or mileage. That 4th gen Camaro was a terrible car. In fact that was the car that killed the Camaro.
The Mustang is newer, has less miles and with decent negotiations skills you can get it for much less than the current asking price.

Which one is in the best condition, as determined by a mechanic's inspection. The lower mileage car may actually have more hidden problems than the higher mileage car. You can't judge the condition of a car simply by comparing mileage.

To truly answer this question I think we would need more information about each of the cars. Personally I would go with the mustang from the information you've provided.

The fact you have to ask means you know nothing about cars.
Spend your money on something you know for sure will be fun.

The one with 41k miles. It will last much longer and it's newer. And it's been used less.

Its a personal choice. I would probably go for the Mustang if both are in similar condition.
