My sister has a bad back and needs a new bed. Will medicare(A+B) pay for one?

    No, unless she has a crippling condition and a doctor prescribes a special bed. How old is she? If she is not a senior, she can do exercises to help her back, follow an anti-inflammatory diet, get chiropractic. Medicare has a list of dureable equipment they cover on the back of the Book they send everyone each year and on their website.

    Regular bed, no. Hospital bed, only if prescribed by a physician.

    Not unless your doctor writes, a script for one which probably won't happen.
