In May of 2016 I'm planning to take my 10 and 13 year old cousins to Disney Land. Any tips or tricks are of great help! Thanks!?

I'm not sure what kinds of tricks or tips you're hoping to find.

Disney does not allow anyone to discount its rooms or tickets, so you won't find any better deal elsewhere that you can't also get through Disney. Their website makes it very easy to plan your trip and play around with options.

I definitely recommend staying on-site. There are reasonably priced Disney hotels (the Value resorts), and the perks of staying onsite are unbeatable. The transportation is huge - regular, reliable, and free transportation between the hotels and the parks. That saves you the hassle of driving and parking yourself ($17 a day to park), and the hassle of relying on the notoriously bad offsite shuttles. Disney guests can also take advantage of Extra Magic Hours, when a park is open either early or late just for resort guests; and only Disney guests have the option of purchasing a dining plan.

The dining plan may or may not save you money - it really depends on where you eat. And since a 10-year-old and 13-year-old are going to be considered adults, the plan will be pricey; some recent analyses of these plans shows that the real savings is with the kids' meals. But if you are planning some character meals, then the plan can definitely save you. If the dining plans are offered for free during your stay, then definitely take advantage of that.

Disney Land is in California - not Orlando.

But go onto the Disney website for all the information you could need.
