What methods could I use to get most of my tuition paid for?

I got accepted to a language school overseas for next year. I'm currently working, saving up as much as humanly possible-only spending for bills, groceries and gas, applying for scholarships and grants. I even tried setting up a gofundme campaign, but I am having a hard time getting word out.

Are there any other tips to help me lower the cost of my tuition without taking out a loan?

Tuition is 20,000 dollars and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am in a similiar situation, I go to Bucknell University which is about $42,000 a year. You said that your brother is already in school, sometimes you would get a discount for that. Besides scholarships, I do the work study program here and then other than that, just loans...They are many types of loans that you do not have to payback until after you graduate. You could also try contacting the financial aid office and try to explain that even with your financial aid package, you are having trouble with payment....they may not do anything about it, but it is worth a shot. If you are absolutely sure that tis is where you want to go, than loans will proabably be necessary (make sure you find a reputable source for loans such as pnc bank or wachovia or other well known places)

You can learn a new language for free. Language acquisition is just hard work and practice. It has no place in a classroom, you need to use it to learn it. Why would you or anyone else pay for classes?

Go to the country, get a job and do a chapter from a grammar book each day. Write down and learn any new words that you come across. Plan to learn 20 new words every day. In 3 months you will be fluent, in a year you will be able to express yourself well.

Costs nothing except time that you would have spent anyway.
