Why won't the NRA allow open carry at their own convention? I thought guns saved lives?

As the Tennessean newspaper subsequently (and correctly) reported, gun owners with proper carry permits were, in fact, allowed to bring their guns into the association’s convention. A spokeswoman for Music City Center told the paper that it was the center’s policy to follow state law in such instances, and said neither the center nor the NRA had any problem with permit-holding gun owners bringing their weapons. As the paper also reported, the only guns that would have their firing pins removed at the convention were those on display at the convention’s trade show. This is nothing new. The guns aren’t for sale, aren’t to be fired and can’t be removed from their display cases.

That is not true. This myth started because of an NRA convention being held in (cant remember exactly but i think it was CA or MA) and due to the state law handguns were illegal to carry so that is why. As someone who attended NRA in various states, i can confirm they DO ALLOW GUNS as long as you have a valid permit to carry it

    Why do liberal trolls LIE?

    http://www.tennessean.com/story/news/local/davidso...

The National Rifle Association and the Music City Center have confirmed that gun owners with the proper carry permits can bring their guns with them into the center during the association’s convention, which will be held there this weekend.

EDIT: So then it appears as though liberals have a tough time understanding that the NRA will follow laws. Typical

I own a handgun. I took it to a gun show in Arizona, a state that allows concealed carry. I had to have my weapon inspected by a security officer and sealed before I could take it in. Evey one of the hundreds of firearms at the show was seale so that they could not be fired. Their show, their rules. They don't want a progressive like Loughner or Holmes coming is and killing a bunch of them.

Because Tennessee(where the convention is being held this year) prohibits the carrying of firearms except with a valid Tennessee CCW. Although a FFL is permitted.

Source(s): FFL holder ATF license holder Florida CCW holder. And Proud NRA member for 31 years.

They dont wanna get shot. But all Republican Presidential conventions are allowed to carry open or under. They already said it. What a group.

As others have said, gun owners with permits can bring their firearms into the convention.

Better luck next time in your anti-gun trolling attempts.

When they are killing black Americans that's fine with the NRA. Just not them.
