Do you think we will ever have a cashless society?

Do you think we will ever have a cashless society? And if so how many years do you think it will take?

    It is virtually here already. The money I earn goes straight to my checking account. I buy everything with my plastic debit card. Pay all my bills by computer. Even the drink and candy machines take plastic for payment.

    Plastic can be used for everything now. Even the fast food places take plastic.

    I carry a $20 bill on me for an emergency of some sort. And may carry it for months without spending it.

    Yes, I really do. Probably in the next ten to twenty years, if not sooner.

    No. They'll print more money. Don't see what's preventing them.
