Overcharging iphone?! Please answer!?
Okay so my phone is at 50% battery level and I need it at 100% for tomorrow (work). It's night now and I'm pretty tired but it's charging right now and I don't want to leave it charging overnight. Is there any bad effects on your iphone when charging overnight? Can I? All answers appreciated.

Your phone has built-in circuitry that prevents it from overcharging. You don't need to be concerned with it.

I always charge my phone overnight, and it works just fine. As others mention, phones are smart enough to not charge when already full.
Allowing a Li-ion battery to fully *drain* will damage it.

you cant overcharge MOST modern devices. they simply stop charging once they get 100% charged
