How do I stop more than one hair growing out of one root?

I shave my armpits and I have noticed that more than one hair has been growing out of one root. This makes my armpits look like there is thicker hairs. I want this to stop, is there any way to stop this from happening?

You don't. Your follicle may grow more than one hair, or you may have more than one follicle in a pore. This isn't something that you can change, it actually is very common. Just shave regularly.
