Where would you go to find a babysitter/ nanny for over the summer or after school? POLL?
i currently work at a fast food place but would totally rather be a babysitter over the summer ! as a parent where would you go online to find a babysitter :)

Do you have any connections to elementary schools in your area? Any siblings who go to school?
If you know anyone who works there, you can ask them to put up an ad with your phone number by the office.
You could ask regardless, but it'd be easier if you know someone. Or ask an old teacher so she can verify you're a trustworthy person.
When parents go to pick up their kids or visit the school, they will see your ad. There's also usually tutoring ads there, so people will see yours too.
I think as a parent, I'd be a bit more likely to check there first, before I check online.

I wouldn't consider finding one online; there are too many creeps out there. I would talk to friends and relatives, and ask for recommendations.
