Help with an apartment..?

My household is just myself and my 3 year old. I really want a 2 bedroom however I am finding it extremely diffcult to find out the fits my budget or what I'm looking for. I was thinking of getting a one bedroom instead for now.. in that case would I give the baby the bedroom and I sleep in the living room how does that work? Does it even makes sense?

I'd think it would make more sense to share the bedroom with the child. You could put a privacy screen up in the middle of the room to give a little more semblance of privacy, but I think sleeping in the living room as your bedroom is not necessary.

You can share the same room for a while. People live in all sorts of situations, based on what they can afford. If you can afford a one bedroom, be happy you are getting more than a studio or even just a room.

You can both sleep in the same room; a cot and bed should both fit. Alternatively put the cog in the living room, why give up the bedroom entirely for a tiny person who won't use a standard size bed?

Yep sounds like a good plan. I did that when my son was little.
