I am rebuilding credit and want to be on the right track this time around. When I was 18 is when I first got some credit cards and didn't really know the value of credit. Now that I am older I am very aware of it. So far I have been paying all balances off in full before the payment date. I just need a few pointers... I have 2 new credit cards should I use them to report credit utilization?

Please let me know if this sounds right.. A friend of mine (male) apparently has a child that lives in California. The mother of the child said that the child belongs to my friend. She sent an a home DNA test from California to New York and he sent back a sample to her and she sent a paper that said it was positive. My question is does that sound right to you? Also if she took him for child support would they have to repeat the test to prove the child is really his since his name is not on the birth certificate when she moves back to New York?

This is my first try with Para Guard the IUD that's suppose to be a good form of birth control for the next 10 years. I am a little nervous. My doctor advised me its best to get it inserted while on my monthly cycle sounds so weird lol.. will it make me bleed more because my period is not that heavy now only the first 2 days are heavy and by day 3 and 4 it's barely there. Please share any of your experiences.

My household is just myself and my 3 year old. I really want a 2 bedroom however I am finding it extremely diffcult to find out the fits my budget or what I'm looking for. I was thinking of getting a one bedroom instead for now.. in that case would I give the baby the bedroom and I sleep in the living room how does that work? Does it even makes sense?

Trying to go to grad school and trying to figure out what would make more sense, I have about 5-7 years of work experience in the accounting and finance field. I live in NY which do you think would be a better fit for me. Also any schools that you recommend in the area?

I recently put a deposit on a BMW 4 series however the credit department was closed. I was asked to leave a deposit so I left $500. On the contract it says deposit hold due to finance department and terms. What does that mean? Basically if im not approved for the car will I have a hard time getting back my money?

I currently live with my mom and I would need a 2 bedroom apartment for myself and my son. I do not want to exceed $1,500 in rent since I have other expenses. I have the money to move now but I am a little afraid. How much money should I have saved before I move? Please any suggestions would help. Thank you.

So, I have known this guy since high school (which is about 10 years now). We dated back in high school and then broke up when we went away to college. We had been on and off throughout the years. We have been on now since January of this year and things are really good however, we are not officially in a relationship. Last night he told me that he thinks we are moving fast because of your history together and etc.

So what does that mean to me? Should I back up off and give him space? If space how much space?

So I'm leaving on June 6 for a wedding trying to tone and lose whatever I can in the next 2 weeks time. I have been drinking a lot of water and I started the 14 day squat challenge along with this I did 40 jumping jacks, 25 sit ups, and ran 3 times up and down 6 flights of stairs. I have been eating much cleaner than ever. Right now I am 5'2 and about 160 but not fat. I have some baby weight still left in my tummy but not a lot. Should I also try a laxative this weekend and next weekend along with my routine? Is this a good track? Any suggestions.

So my ex-boyfriend and I use to date back in High School which was over 8 years ago now, however, we have always kept in touch and have been messing around on and off throughout the years. Recently we have been getting much closer. He asked me to come with him as a date to his uncle's wedding..people are telling me that this is a big deal.. however how is it a big deal..

I currently hold a BA with a minor in Human Resources Management.. I was thinking of going back to school to pursue a Masters in Finance. I have a lot of accounting experience and felt that if I went ahead and got my Masters that it will help open some doors to a very good company..I am 25 so I am trying to kick off a career before 30 and get established.. What is the difference between a MBA in finance and a MS in finance? Do you think this would be a good thing for me?

What do you think of Baruch College in NYC??

We had our annual holiday party last week and had a few drinks more than I probably should have just like everyone else, however, when the party was over a few of us stayed behind and hung out and had more drinks. This guy who works at the same company as I do said to me that he is always thought I was hot and he also had that he wish he could rip my clothes off and he kissed my hand. He also mentioned to me that he would date me in a heartbeat. When it time to go home we shared a taxi and no nothing happened in there.

Moral of this story is that is a VERY attractive man but he is MARRIED so, that's a no no. My question is do you think this was just the alcohol talking or truth cause I'm really feeling bad for entertaining this and he seems a little off as well since the party and I just want to keep professional.

I got my BA in 2012 and now I feel stuck a low wage job. I want to go back to school to get my masters but, I have no idea what I can get my masters in so, I can get a decent salary job paying at least 50K min. I live in NYC and there isn't much HR jobs that will hire you without the experience even as an assistant. Very depressing. I am taking my LSAT in December but if I don't get into a Tier 1 law school it will not make any sense to go that route and end up in more debt! I am a hard worker and a fast learner.

I am open to any industries and all ideas. Thank you!

PS: I thought of choosing the medical field but since I have a BA I would need to take pre-req courses to even be considered which takes a lot of time and undergrad money that I do not have. Since all loans are pretty much maxed out.

So I live in NYC and the problem began when my boyfriend lost his job, the rent is $1400 and its in one of those middle income HPD buildings and so far we are 1 month and a half behind on rent. December will make 2 and 1/2 behind on rent. The lease is up in December, will the management of the building allow us to sign a renewal of lease?

I honestly can't afford it and don't want to sign since the rent will increase. But, the other person is insisting and has no income! I know sticky situation.

So my BF and I have been together for a little over 5 years and now he have a 2 year old. We have been living on our own for almost 2 years now in an apartment. He lost his job about 6 weeks ago and I have not seen him giving an attempts to look for another one. Our lease is up by the end of the year and the rent will increase.I even advised him to apply for the snap program since he isn't working and he has not done that either. I have given him jobs to apply to and he hasn't apply to them. He mentioned that he will get a job next month but bills still have to be paid. On top of that he has always tried to be controlling for example if I go out he will call and say where you at, what time you coming in, etc. Then he asks me if I am seeing someone at my job because of lack of sex but honestly I just fall asleep because im tired. I work all day then go home and take care of the baby, cook, clean, and then shower both myself and the baby.

PS- He gets UE but its less than $100 a week. I told him to call them and see if he get a different rate based off his last employment but he didn't do that.
