Wedding situation?

Here is the deal..

So my ex-boyfriend and I use to date back in High School which was over 8 years ago now, however, we have always kept in touch and have been messing around on and off throughout the years. Recently we have been getting much closer. He asked me to come with him as a date to his uncle's wedding..people are telling me that this is a big deal.. however how is it a big deal..

Not trying to jump the gun just want some feedback..

Thanks!!

Usually when you bring a date to a family social gather it is a big deal. Family is going to think since your brought her to meet them, she is importation to you, you are "serious" about each other.

Nobody can answer this for you. It could be the simple fact that he's like a lot of people and doesn't enjoy attending weddings without a date. Or, it could mean something more.

If you're truly getting "closer" to him, and you want to know what this means, why not ask him instead of friends and random strangers?

It might be a big deal, it might be something completely casual. Maybe he just does not want to attend a wedding alone?

    No one knows but him.
