will my braces hurt as bad as my spacers?
I have spacers in now which hurt like hell. And I was woudering if my braces would hurt this bad or will it be a bit better?

Yeah, they will hurt probably a week to a week and a half after you get them. But, after time you won't notice it. Some people say that when they get checked up every month it hurts after they get replaced. For me it never hurts when they do that though. As a tip, make sure to bring a little floss for when you get the wire replaced every month, because you can floss real quick, and it will be much easier without the wire. Good luck though!

honey.. THEY WILL. Alleve will be your lover for the next week or so. I never had spacers but I know how braces hurt because I have them on now.

The first week or so you'll be in a lot of pain. I couldn't eat anything hard Or even remotely hard. Then after awhile, you won't even feel anything. However, if you get a chain put on sometime through your braces experience, it also hurts very bad.
