Where can i obtain a stage firing replica Flintlock pistol? Do I need a firearms licence?

What country do you live in because in the US (except in a few locations) there is no such thing as a firearms license? Typically even real flintlock pistols are not regulated, not even a background check is required, so a replica one shouldn't be a problem. Or you could just get a real one and make sure you have a lot of understudy actors. Not sure you can easily find a flintlock pistol that fire blanks, but you can find plenty of modern pistols. Wouldn't be hilarious if a character in a period piece pulls out a Beretta and starts blasting away?
