Theatre acting motivation strateges.?
Currently in an am dram play but the character I play is not very likeable and the director has given me additional work including adding an accent, also I’ve been put with a group of people with no acting experience whotsoever, and this is their first play.
I have been acting a few years and do have some qualifications and a spotlight membership feel very demotivated in this production but its too late to quit. Any coping strategies.
2 AnswersTheatre & Acting3 years agoIs it normal to have feelings after an acting workshop!?
I recently took part in a workshop which was about sex trafficking, and had to perform a scene were I abused a younger victim. The other actress was a professional and as such understanding, but thinking back I still get horrible afterthoughts about it. Is that normal?
2 AnswersTheatre & Acting5 years agoIf i am fired from a temp job because the company does not pay its bills, can i sue?
I am currently working on a temporary contract, which I have been working on for three years and half years with a large company. I was contacted by my agency who informed me that the company had not paid their invoices for my services to the agency for three months and that if they didn’t settle I would be removed from site, in other words out of a job. I was forced to contact my company line manager and chase the payment myself; the company advised it was an issue with their finance department, which I believe should not be my responsibility as that’s the duty of the agency.
What legal recourse would I have in this situation to make a claim against either the company or the agency should I have been essentially laid off?

1 AnswerRunning7 years agoWorld War One Recruitment Policy?
I am in the process of writing a monologue about a very patriotic young man who has attempted to volunteer for the Army during WW1 but due to a medical condition (Epilepsy) he has been turned down, would he be allowed to take part in other non combat duties such as stretcher bearing in a similar sense to how conscious objectors would have been offered? Would he still have been shunned in the street and have white feathers pinned on him? Any information would be appreciated.

The basis is that a nuclear war in Africa has caused millions of Africans to move to Europe and the result is a Civil war in Britain between the native population an the new immigrants.

1 AnswerMovies7 years agoWhats the legal situation regarding Gym members and car parks?
I was visiting my local gym last week and another member of the same gym pulled of a side junction within the car park whilst using his mobile phone and then proceeded to follow me in his vehicle making threats 3 times. I reported this to the manager who claimed that even though members committing criminal offences are banned he claimed that because it occurred on the car park it was not part of the premises and was the responsibility of the building management company.
I have already cancelled my membership but advice please.
