Yes, I could say that XYZ can often be seen in the charts of gay guys. But then, there will be OTHER guys who have the same XYZ and are NOT gay.

You see .. astrology only indicates what is going on INSIDE of us. It does not describe the countless ways in which we outwardly act on, react to, what is going on inside of us.

Astrology does not predict external behavior. External behavior is up to how we work with ourselves, the unconscious habits and issues we have created within ourselves, and - mostly - how self-aware we are and therefore how much choice we have in how we behave externally.

In terms of sexual orientation, though, I do not think that there is a lot of choice involved.

The birthchart does not show genetic influences. And genetic influences are stronger than astrological influences in making us who we are.

In 40 years of doing astrological consultations with clients, there have been some whose charts suggested they might be gay. And some of them have opened up during the consult and told me they were gay. Others were definitely, from what they said, heterosexual.

I learned after about 5 years of doing readings, that you just cannot predict external behaviors. The only reliable indicator is the Ascendant .. and that is only their "pleased to meet you" mask and has nothing to do with sexual preference.

I definitely know a venus in Leo makes a person likely gay.
