My CPU makes a buzzing sound and I can't turn on my computer?
i forgot to turn off my dell optiplex cpu last night now it makes a sound and i can't turn on my computer. How can i fix this?

hard drive failure most likely, the buzzing is the scratching of the reader on the disc.... other than that... maybe fans, but that wouldnt explain it not starting up

If you didn't turn off the computer, then why isn't it still running? Has the power supply failed?
