Question

Democrat controlled Senate + Democrat controlled House + Bush  = All Bush's fault
Democrat controlled Senate + Democrat controlled House + Obama = All Bush's fault
Democrat controlled Senate + Republican controlled House + Obama = House Republicans fault
Republican controlled Senate + Republican controlled House + Obama = Congress' fault

Anybody else see a pattern here of who liberals and democrats like to blame no matter WHO is in charge or running the show?

Now, reverse it and see what conservatives think.

Unfortunately for you, liberals, and probably most conservatives, look at the situation from a far more complex 2 + 2 = 4 mindset.  We know that a President can only sign the bills that get to his desk, that he can veto any of them he doesn't approve of, no matter which party controls Congress, and that Congress can refuse to pass any bills he proposes if they consider that their job.

The Democrats took control of the senate and the house in the spring of 2007. There literally wasn't enough time for them to have caused the Bush recession. For the 6 previous years the Republicans controlled both bodies.
