Kissed my boyfriend, next day he tells me he is sick with stomach flu? Will I get sick?
First of all, I am not talking about influenza. I am talking about stomach flu.
Last night I hung out with my boyfriend and kissed him a ton. I left around 12:30, today he texted me saying he was in the bathroom all night since 3:00 am (not vomiting, but...) and he doesn't feel well at all. I think he is sick with stomach flu, unless the chicken he cooked was bad (though his roomate ate it and I don't think he is sick).
Is there a chance I can get sick with the stomach flu since I kissed him a few hours before he showed symptoms? I can't seem to get a straight answer anywhere, and since I have an awful phobia of throwing up, I am really nervous and want to know.

You could have gotten him sick. Many germs are transferred from kissing. That's one way someone can get sick with they are in a relationship. Hundreds of thousands of germs are transferred.

It's very possible if the bacteria, virus is in your body, but your immune system could fight it off before you notice. No one can really give you a straight answer, your just gonna have to wait and see.

Ask him to go to the doctor, go along with him if he wants you too, then you can be really sure if it was you and while your at it, get yourself checked too. I'm pretty sure its minor but you know it can be something else
