How do I convince my parents to not move?

So my parents want to move to a different county and when I asked them why they said, "because the property tax is too high here and ours has been raised by $50" but I don't believe that is a good excuse to move. The main reason I don't want to move is because I only have 2 years left of my high school career and I don't want to get confused and messed up for those last years. Also I'm not a big economist but I do think that where we live now can get better in time. I would like help to convince my parents that taxes should not be a good enough reason to move. If you disagree with me please let me know why.

You are right - there are probably other reasons than the tax. You are also right in that money is not as important as your education. Of course most countries have schools and colleges though!

I doubt that there is much you can say to them to persuade them to stay; have you any grandparents or friends you can stay with during school terms?
