Why do you think this conservatives?
When right-wing extremists claim homosexuality and transgenders will "bring the end of society" and make us "morally corrupt" why do you think that? What makes someone think "oh gay marrige is legal? Must be the rapture everyone get your picket signs." I just want to know what makes you think that, besides the bible since religion belongs nowhere near government and if you wanna debate that take it up with our founding fathers. So why will gays end the world conservatives, any other reason except and incorrect and fallible religious document?

Part of the reason is Conservatism is generally tied to Christianity, and Christians, by their nature, judge anything "different" as "bad", hence why most Conservatives view any progressive policy as "bad"...except for ending slavery (for some reason they think attempting to own that progressive policy will get them the black vote).
I mean, take it back a few steps, and lets just talk about minorities - look at how most conservatives view simply accepting other races/creeds: with fear.
Fear of what, exactly? The current, established American culture (i.e. the status quo) dissapearing. They can not grasp that simply accepting another's differences does not equate to them adopting and implementing every single aspect of that specific other's existence. It is insanity, and that is where they live DAILY! They fear Sharia Law, despite the fact that they are constantly and consistently trying to push Christian Law into legislation. They fear individuals who can not speak English, yet fail to understand that the language came from Europe (i.e. it is not "American"). The fear the people crossing the border, and fail to comprehend that 99% of their ancestry IMMIGRATED TO THE US!
Then you add into the mix the addition of sexual/gender identities, and how do you think they will respond? Representative Glenn Grothman of Wisconsin can't even handle the idea of Kwanzaa (he is seriously opposed to the holiday to an unnecessary degree), and that is an AMERICAN HOLIDAY (it was established in 1965 specifically as the first African-American holiday), so the notion of two dudes doing anything outside of talking about power tools and monster trucks has them running scared.
With Conservatism and Christianity, just remember:
Anything/Anyone who is different = Bad, Immoral, and in league with Satan.

no, for me it has absolutely nothing to do with religion. the reason why i oppose it is because there are already civil unions and gays just want to be legally married for the namesake. also, i think it is degrading the traditional family because the effects of a child being raised by gays is not yet known. the last thing that I've seen is the rise of "tranny" rights, and i have seen a hell of a lot of hate aimed toward straights because of that (specifically "die cis scum.") i especially don't want tranny rights because thinking that you are not the sex you are is a mental disorder, just as if someone thought that they were someone else. what i'm worried about is the effects of it, not why or the morality of it. if you look, you can see the cancer that we call liberals eating away at society, slowly degrading it. look at Sweden, it's currently a black hole of "acceptance" and "fairness" and people are being censored for speaking out for what they truly believe in. That is why i oppose it. it's not because i hate gays, its because i want society to strive and keep going forward.
