I'm building a new pc?

Update:

I'm building a new pc as my old one needs a new psu and mobo (cba to change both it's basically from scratch anyway)

I currently have fx-6300 OC at 3.7Ghz but idk whether to go for a FX-8350 black edition, a, i7 4790k or an i5 4690k

Should I go for 750 or 850w PSU?

please help I already have gpu (sapphire r9 270x 4gb)

I've recently upgrading from the FX6300 to the FX 8350,(To eliminate a bottlenecking issue with a new graphics card) And I have to say, it doesn't come with that much more performance.. If you're going to spend money on a CPU and motherboard upgrade, I'd stay away from that.

The i7 is an EXTREMELY good processor, but obviously the most expensive choice. If you're just gaming, you don't need the extra features that come with the i7, as games don't utilize them (yet)so personally I would go with the i5.

And a 750w PSU should be more than enough:D

If you have budget, go for 4790k, else 4690k is good enough for any game

R9 270x is not that power hungry graphics card, you should be fine with good quality 650 watts PSU, something from Corsair/Antec/Seasonic/XFX/EVGA will do fine
