Question is below. Typed in wrong space.?

Bought a led 120hz T.V. about 3 years ago. Everything I watched had the so called soap opera effect and for big budget effects films it looked very cool. Like I was watching it live. Everything looks normal now( still great picture). Question is, did my eyes just adjust to the 120HZ or is there something not right with the T.V.

The soap opera effect is in the TV's image processing settings and can be turned on and off. I turned mine off. Motion in bd movies looks just like in the theaters with it off. Every brand has a different name for it. Look it up. It probably got turned off.

What a vague and impossible to answer question.

What are you watching when you notice you no-longer have the super-bright images?

The TV show "Big Bang Theory" is well lit with over-saturated colors that pop out even without a poorly adjusted screen. But the TV show "Criminal Minds" is always a dim, dark or grey show because that is how it was filmed.

So it might just be your source.
