I think that just about everyone who uses the "global warming" moniker simply doesn't understand exactly what is being suggested.

It is universally acknowledged that the world's climate changes. Gets cold, then warm, then cold ad nauseum. Nobody disputes that.

The catch is when you say that climate change, as it were, is caused by human activity- and more precisely to the student climatologists that blame CO2 specifically and that can't use a calculator- more than anything else. This can be proved absolutely wrong if you were to simply consider 2 dates in human history- the year 1900 and the year 2000.

Here's what to do... determine the human population and the CO2 concentration for those 2 years. This is easily looked up, and by the way the figures are developed and confirmed by some of the same scientists that are now screaming bloody murder. But I digress.

Through VERY simple math, determine the per capita emissions for each of those years. You will see that the per capita emissions in 2000 are close to 98% LESS than those in 1900. The remaining 2% includes what it takes to maintain life, i.e., breathing.

It is now easy to see that each human is contributing almost nothing compared to what they did 100 years ago.

Why? Also easy. We no longer utilize "dirty" heat, we no longer pile manure 10 feet tall on city corners (higher than that would get you a fine in Baltimore), we no longer burn trash in uncontrolled ways. Shall I go on?

We should also consider that in the 1970's these same climatologists warned us to be prepared for an ice age that would begin, well, right about now. Guess what.

Before you start to veil a question about the horrible things humans do to their environment and how it is changing the climate in a way that it wouldn't otherwise occur, do the math.

It's a denial myth that humans will be basking in sunshine all round the world comes. That animals will come out more when its warm.

More like once fertile food producing areas now will have lower yields due to increased frequency of extreme weather conditions. And since the worst affected are 3rd world economies, be sure of mass human migration. That's not even to mention how it will affect the water supply? Water wars are predicted to the new conflict with changing rainfall patterns and sea water contaminating drinking water.

And this is just the surface area. What about the oceans? Will the bottom of the foodchain like algae and plankton survive acidic oceans caused by excess heat? If not, expect a drastic reduction in marine life.

Sure, some areas of the globe will benefit from climate change. But what about the areas that don't benefit? What about the people in those areas? Can they sustain their economies?
