Icky feminine question?

So my period started a couple days ago and it's my 3rd I think. I have two questions.

1. Me and my dad have a really close relationship, but when I'm on my period I just want food and to be left alone. But obviously he doesn't know, and I won't tell him because he still thinks of me as his little 3 year old. So how do I manage that?

2. I have an awful cough, so coughing constantly. Every cough kind of forces blood out and it's gross because I can feel it and I'm getting more bc of it. So how do I manage that?

    1) Your dad needs to respect that your body is going through changes. Your period isn't something that should terrify him, and if it does, then he's the one that needs to grow up.

    2) Unfortunately, coughing on your period causes extra bleeding. While you're sick try wearing an extra thick pad or combine a pad and a tampon to prevent leakage.

    1) I think you need to tell your dad so he can understand what's going on with you. You can't be a baby forever

    2) Welcome to the wonderful world on menstural period. Just try not to put too much pressure on that muscle when you cough. And as long as you are wearing sanitary liners I wouldn't worry, just change it if you feel a lot of blood has come out
