Speaking as a conservative myself, I say that hatred of anything eats out the hater's guts and does no harm at all to the hated. The rights and wrongs of hatred are secondary to its self-destructive futility.

I just saw a conservative under a yahoo news story about a black guy getting killed saying the "tree swinger" got what he deserved. Then he was all shocked and had his feelings hurt that people called him a racist. These people aren't right in the head.
