Get a 1/2 inch npt faucet, (hose bibb). Then get a 1/2 inch npt to female hose adapter.

Attach the hose adapter to the faucet. Screw the entire faucet to the end of your hose. You now have an extended faucet. Get creative to add more piping in order to attach it in your remote spot.

I would like to add a word of caution. Garden hoses get weak when the ambient temperature rises. So leaving the hose charged is not recommended. Turn off the hose at its source when not using it. Otherwise you may come home one day to find a flood in your yard due to a burst hose.

If you want an outdoor fountain for pets go to pets smart or lowes and look for outdoor fountain for pets.
