I'm confused about this guy. Does he like me?

So there's this guy I've liked for 2 years. And he used to be really sweet and we would talk sometimes. Then he found out I liked him and he changed. He started acting really mean. Like he would talk about me badly and say things like she's creepy and annoying or he would say oh i don't like her she stalks me. But the thing is I'm not any of those things and I don't stalk him. Then what he'll do is go and stare at me. He stares me down in the hallways when he passes by me in between classes. One time at a pep rally my friend told me he almost tripped up the bleacher stairs trying to stare at me. And in class my friends told me he was staring at me and smiling when I wasn't looking. He tells everyone he doesn't like me and when my friends ask him if he likes me they tell me he acts annoyed when they ask him. they have asked him when hes around his friends and when hes alone. One time my friend saw him outside of school and she asked him if he knew me and he said oh my gosh yes did she mention me and she said yeah why do you care and he said i dont and she said yes you do and he said who said i didnt care then she told me he started blushing and she confronted him about it and he denied it but then she asked him what he thought about me and he said i like her shes cool. but inside of school he denies everything and says he doesn't like me. I'm just really confused. Also at lunch he moves tables and sits at the table nearest me and then stares at me. Advice? Thank you. xx (:
