So I saw this guy I went to hs with at dollar general. And he was in line and there was a guy in between us. He kept looking out of the corner of his eye at me and he had a little smile on his face. Then he would put his basket down and then he would fidget/fiddle with these umbrellas that were in a stand. And then we went to separate cash registers and he was waiting on the cashier to answer him and he stood there for a second and was looking at me and had a little smile on his face. Then I left out and I was in the car and my mom and I were talking and he walked out and looked at me. But I was just wondering if he was nervous because he liked me? Because long story short, he always showed mixed signals in school. Like he would stare at me everyday and sometimes he'd smile and other times he would glare. Then he would talk bad about me saying I was creepy, weird, annoying or that he tries to avoid me and that he doesn't like me. And bring me up to people when they were talking about something totally different. Then he would also say good things about me like he thinks I'm pretty and cute and he would say "I-I really like her." Just a backstory so you guys probably know why I'm confused. Please help! So i've had a crush on this guy for 2 years and he used to be really sweet and flirty, always talk to me first. etc. then all of the sudden he just started acting mean and stopped talking to me. Okay so, I've liked this guy for a while now and today my friend asked him if he liked me and he said i like her but shes kind of stalkerish. And she asked him then why do you stare at her? And he said I don't stare at her like for real. And my friend said yes you do stare at her. And then he just started smiling. And the thing is i'm not stalkerish at all. And so i was upset about it and i went out of the locker room to get some fresh air and my 2 friends came with me and i was getting kind of teary and the guy i like's best friend saw and then called my two friends over and told them to tell me that the guy i like doesnt like me and that he's told all his friends he doesn't like me and the people telling me he likes me are twisting his words. So at this point i honestly have no clue what to do. I don't know who to trust and i'm really confused. Because what he does is stare at me and then goes and talks about me behind my back. I don't know. What should I do? And please don't say to ask him myself because I don't want to push it. And i don't want to ask him because I'm really shy. Advice?
