Does my crush like me? I'm confused.?

Okay so I've liked this guy since 10th grade and we are seniors this year. My guy friend told me over the summer that he had a crush on me in 9th grade and he would get all nervous about it and he would get nervous when talking to me. (which he did) and then my guy friend told me in 10th grade he hated me. But now we are seniors and these past 2 years he has done all of it. He's stared and smiled at me, hes looked me up and down, hes stared and bit his lip, and hes glared too. He's talked badly about me behind my back and telling other boys im weird and he has been very emotionally abusive. BUT my guy friend told me over the summer he didnt know how my crush felt about me in 11th grade. But my friend thats a girl told me when we started school this august, in 11th grade after i left the nurses office he had been in there and he said to her "you know that girl you were just talking to? the one with the curly hair?" she said "yeah." he said "what were yall talking about?" she said "nothing." he said "well i think shes really cute." then she heard him say to one of his guy friends as they were leaving the room he stuttered and said "I-I really like her." What does all of this mean? What does it mean when he stuttered? I'm conufsed because hes told people he doesnt like me. Hes told the counselor at school and my mom and my counselor and therapist think he doesnt like me. But also other people say he DOES like me. Advice? Thank you!!
