Yellow fever or just a preference?

It's only creepy when old fat men travel to Asia to marry a young Asian woman who can't speak English and she does it for the green card. Then she ends up in America, not knowing anyone, feeling like a prisoner to him. This is exploitation and the original source of frustration towards foreign men who marry Asian women... hence labels like "yellow fever" were then made as a response.

If however, you're both of the same nationality and both speak the same language... so there is no exploitation... it's perfectly fine. It's just sexual attraction. People find certain traits, personalities, etc more attractive. It's largely just natural selection I think. But as long as you can both speak the same language, well, that's the best we as society can hope for so there is always open dialogue and never a situation where a women feels trapped in a foreign land.

But if she has been with you for 17 years, I doubt it's just for a green card. :P Obviously it's not "yellow fever" but a serious relationship.

I must come out of the closet here as having a strong Asian preference. I've always been that way, even before that I had a lot of Asian friends. I appreciate the way they value family and count yourself lucky if you are in a relationship with one and counted as family. They also don't have the same hang ups that some other kind of women have- they are mostly confident in their gender roles and I don't mean subservient.

Also they tend to have nice style and I prefer pettitte women with strong bottom half and many fit this description.

Are you kidding me? Mongoloid women have flat breasts, flat butts, flat faces, flat noses, shallow set eyes, projecting jaws (not as projecting as black people though). You will find east and south east Asians with these features in poor areas because they don't have money to have surgery. Don't take the ones on TV for the fact. Those probably had surgery already. Don't be such a pedophile. They look cute after surgery, but it's fake. White women are more beautiful. Trust me.

Many people have a racial/ethnic preference, and it's totally normal. I think it's only "yellow fever" (or "jungle fever" or whatever other "fever") if you're treating the people as a fetish rather than complete individual people, but it doesn't seem the case for you.

If you're just some old white guy who has this ideal image of asians then you're creepy, but go be creepy to them because nobody else cares. Creepy white men have made a reputation for themselves that most people don't want to be bothered with, tbh.

There's never been any scientific studies proving if race can be attractive. You think your social construct is the most attractive race. Is it silly because people will have a bias to think their own ethnic group is the most attractive. You may still believe, however it wouldn't have any particular meaning.

Yellow "Fever" IS a personal preference. No one has been "infected".

I never understood how any man can be attracted to east asian women(excluding filpinos and chinese because at least some have nicer looking faces), they are shaped like little girls and they generally are not attractive(in the face).

I think men who are not east asian that find east asians(all) attractive are usually pedophiles.
