What's a good chess opening to practice?
I tried the strong-wall attack, but I keep on getting my *** kicked. I'm probably not playing it right. I ordered a book called Move By Move which is supposed to help me. Still hasn't arrived in the mail so if any of you have some info, please let me know. Thanks

Pick any opening with 1.e4 that has "gambit" in the name. Or you could try this line :1. e4, e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Bc5 4. c3 Nf6 5.
d4 exd4 6. e5 now black has to find the move 5...d5 or white has an clear advantage. Even after 5...d5 white is still slightly better. It's the line I recommend to everyone I teach.
If you want an opening rep I would play the exchange variations of the french, CK and Alekhine. The alapin against the sicilian. The 180 attack against the pirc/robatsch and the main lines of the center-counter and nimzo. With black play the tarrasch against d4 and 1 e4, e5 with one of the sidelines (like 3...Bc5) against the Ruy Lopez. It's a very simple opening rep that has very little theory and leads to the types of games that will make you a better player in the long run.

Have a look at King pawn openings, especially the Ruy Lopez.

My Usual Setup which blocks 4 move check mate.
White or Black can use this but I used white for this one.
