URGENT OPINION NEEDED!!!!!?
So I'm 14 and really want to become a professional ballerina! I need to get into the Australian ballet school to even have a chance so I can go to the Australian ballet company! We live in SA and it's in VIC and mum isn't willing to move there as my sister is pursuing her dreams here. We aren't financially for either... I feel as if I'm not ready to do boarding school by myself and have no family living there (unless I go to the Brisbane school but I always get heat stroke there)... What should I do?! I can't get private lessons to improve quickly, I have 3 hours of ballet per week and it's not enough! There's no opportunities in my state!!!

At 14 you don't have time to wait. If you are not ready to go to boarding school you are not ready for or going to have a ballet career. Keep in mind that your age and current lack of training is not the only thing that may be working against you. If you are not born in the 2% of the population that has the right body, facility and musicality for a ballet career no amount of training no matter how good, family support or money can change that. Regarding body it is way more than just being thin and the right height. You could be as thin as a pin and not have a ballet body. It is a certain skeletal and muscle structure that you must be born with. If you are in that 2% then you can get free training and support from the Australian ballet school if you don't have the finances. If you aren't in that 2% remember that you don't have to get paid to enjoy ballet. Recreational ballet is for everyone. Besides, ballet careers don't pay well and are over in a flash. Than dancers need to find a second career for the remainder which is the bulk of your life. Dance for the Joy of Dance and dance can always be a part of your life.

I looked at your other questions and you say you have flat feet and short legs. You will never be a professional ballet dancer with feet and legs like that. As you also say you aren't even considered the best in your recreational ballet school I don't see this remotely happening for you. Find another dream and keep ballet as a hobby because no matter how passionate you are about ballet if you aren't born with the right body it ain't gonna happen.
Lots of people have big dreams and passion equal to yours to dance, be in the movies, be a pop star but if you don't have the natural talent you won't go far. Life isn't fair is it. You have to learn to accept this and move on. Find a passion where your talents are.

You could always work for the Australian Ballet in another capacity to remain in a professional ballet environment.
