Marines and Navy will have pretty demanding physical training. Air Force will be less intense and Marines the most hardcore. The pay is the same throughout all of the military branches. Pay is based on your rank and time served.

Testing. I'm guessing you mean the ASVAB. The Army will accept the lowest score, then Navy, then Marine. Air Force has the highest minimum score.

Basic Training. It really depends where you go for basic. If you go Air Force, everyone goes to Lackland, TX. Navy bootcamp is in Illinois. Marines can go to either Parris Island, South Carolina, or San Diego, California.

I'm a Navy veteran...and I think the Navy is the best! but other branches are good too. They all pay the same and have the same basic benefits.

Navy Boot Camp wasn't that hard. The physical requirements aren't too demanding, but you still have to keep in shape. The Navy probably has the most jobs (ratings) to pick from than the other branches...you have both sea and air ratings and you also have shore ratings. Keep in mind all ratings go to sea sooner or later.

Air Force is not very physically demanding either...they have fewer jobs than the Navy but the jobs that they do have are often very technical. (The Navy also has very technical jobs). The quality of living is better in the Air Force than the Navy....but in the Navy you get to go to more places.

I would say the AF is the least demanding when it comes to their Physical Assessment Test.

Navy PT in bootcamp was a joke lmao. At A school we would run 4 miles every other day so it depends on where you go after.

They all pay the same, with some incentives here and there.

Testing all depends on you. They give you all the materials that are on the test, it is up to you to make it hard or not.

Marines bootcamp is the most demanding both physically and mentally. 2nd would be army

well, seeing as no one person has gone thru all 4.........it's hard to say which is better or easier.

I can only speak for the one I went thru, and what other people say..............

and I can tell you.........Navy Boot was pretty skate........and not hard at all.

Air Force is the pickiest about who they will take..-----in general.

(SEALS of course, are even pickier but I mean general enlistment.......)

I hear Marine Boot is probably the hardest..........

and I'm sorry......but I hear that lowest absvab scores usually are in the Army.

Of course, in all fairness...............we had some real gems in the Navy too. Only God knows which recruiter turned a blind eye to these dolts.

    They all pay the same.

If your looking for easy...........................................................................look elsewhere. Come on man. We are building elite fighting forces here.

You want the peace corps, but you need a degree to get in.

They got a building down New York City, it's called Whitehall Street,

where you walk in, you get injected, inspected, detected, infected,

neglected and selected. I went down to get my physical examination one

day, and I walked in, I sat down, got good and drunk the night before, so

I looked and felt my best when I went in that morning. `Cause I wanted to

look like the all-American kid from New York City, man I wanted, I wanted

to feel like the all-, I wanted to be the all American kid from New York,

and I walked in, sat down, I was hung down, brung down, hung up, and all

kinds o' mean nasty ugly things. And I waked in and sat down and they gave

me a piece of paper, said, "Kid, see the phsychiatrist, room 604."

You have to go through a psychological evaluation to get into the military. This is how my interview went.

And I went up there, I said, "Shrink, I want to kill. I mean, I wanna, I

wanna kill. Kill. I wanna, I wanna see, I wanna see blood and gore and

guts and veins in my teeth. Eat dead burnt bodies. I mean kill, Kill,

KILL, KILL." And I started jumpin up and down yelling, "KILL, KILL," and

he started jumpin up and down with me and we was both jumping up and down

yelling, "KILL, KILL." And the sargent came over, pinned a medal on me,

sent me down the hall, said, "You're our boy."
