braces with medicaid at 20?
hi! i was wondering about getting braces with medicaid. I live in las vegas, and i know that medicaid won t cover adult braces after the age of 21. my birthday isn t for another 4 months. if i were able to get braces before then, would medicaid still cover it upfront if i had to take them out after i turn 21, or would i wind up paying for things at some point since i would be 21+?

You should find out if Medicaid in Nevada covers braces at all. Ask your parent to call their case worker or call around to find a dentist who will accept Medicaid for braces. Each state has some different coverage with Medicaid.
