hi! i was wondering about getting braces with medicaid. I live in las vegas, and i know that medicaid won t cover adult braces after the age of 21. my birthday isn t for another 4 months. if i were able to get braces before then, would medicaid still cover it upfront if i had to take them out after i turn 21, or would i wind up paying for things at some point since i would be 21+?

so, long story short, the inflatable pool's intake hole is too big for a hand pump. on top of that, there are two chambers and the pool is 9' x 6', so no thanks.

it says not to use an air compressor because it could cause tearing. however, the nozzle for the air compressor is too small as well. could I still use the compressor since some air would escape, causing less tension?

if NOT, do you think i could use a nebulizer? a nebulizer is the breathing machine used in hospitals or for asthma patients. i used to have asthma as a kid, but i don't anymore. could i use that to fill it up? the hose will be too small for the hole too, but I could probably tape it together so the air didn't escape. I don't really know what to do.

we don't have one of those automatic pumps made for pools, or i'd use it. i can't buy one either.

My mother only got released from the hospital a couple of weeks ago, and due to financial circumstances, we couldn't afford an in-home nurse of any kind. She had open heart surgery and was on a ventilator for 2 weeks, stayed in the surgical ICU for another week, went to rehab for another week, and has only been home for a couple of weeks now. I am essentially her 24 hr caretaker for the time being. If I didn't need to stay home and take care of her, I would have absolutely no issues attending. And I certainly intend on showing up the first day. But if I could bring documentation of her having been through this, and mention that I am basically her caretaker, would I be excused from jury duty for the time being?

I know that if you buy a tracfone at the store, you get like 30 days of service (approx.?) and like 10 minutes or something? I'm not sure how many, exactly, it's been a while. But do refurbished tracfones come with starter minutes as well, since they're supposed to be in like-new conditions?

Also, I got the LG840G. Although it's refurbished, will it still have the triple minutes for life deal attached to it?

I want to make spherical lollipops, and I want to just use a spherical cake pop mold, you see? But I want to know if I can take the liquid candy syrup (that I'd be pouring in the mold) and put some in between the two semi spheres of already-hard candy to stick them together and on the stick? I don't know how else I would make them.

Maybe I could use a syringe to insert the syrup into the cake pop molds?

okay, here's the run-down. I bought a used PS3 on 10/08/2012. I realize that a fair amount of time has passed, but I've had no time to do anything about it prior to this. the original craigslist post is gone now, but he said it was functioning. when I questioned him about it not working (2 days later on 10/10/2012, had tried texting him the day after [10/09/2012] but got no response, PS3 wouldn't take games, serial code was missing, blu ray drive not functioning [be it the laser or the drive itself, i'm not sure]), this conversation happened:

me: this might be a stupid question lol but i can't seem to get any games in. am I missing something here?

i'm not pissed or anything i'd just like to know if you knew about the issue, or if a game got jammed or something and you had to take it apart to get it out. i'm fine with trying to fix it myself but i gotta know if it was causing any issues that you knew about so i can try something. don't have the money to take it to a shop so i've gotta mess with it myself. so e-mail me back if you can. thanks

A month after that (11/03/2012) I sent him an e-mail in regards to a possible refund. we'd had a conversation through text after the e-mail about it not working, and he told me he would get the money back for me. suddenly, the person I'm texting tells me that it's not that person's number anymore, this is his friend, and that he changed phones. I asked for the new number. no reply.

So, I'm stuck here. I was told I was getting a functional PS3, was not informed of it being sold as is, was promised a refund, and here I am, 7/28/2013, STILL without my money. Is there ANYTHING I can do about this? and if so, will it cost me even more money to forcefully get it back? I've sent him another e-mail and am awaiting a response, but honestly, I'm not expecting one. I am not sure what to do now. any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

My walls right now are light blue. I want to buy light purple, and try to make a gradient out of it. However, without any excess light blue paint (I may or may not have some), would I still be able to use a large sponge or something to make a gradient of the two?

I was messing around with my keyboard and I accidentally played this, and it sounds SO familiar but I'm completely at a loss to what it came from. May not be exactly right, but I KNOW I know what this is.

When I try to put a PS3 game into the slot, it makes the eject noise and the disc won't go in past a certain spot. It just continues to make the eject noise until I take the disc out from where it's at.

Let me tell you the whole story. A few months back, my dog (13 years old, Smooth Fox Terrier) started coughing. He was completely able to breathe, there were no problems like that, but every 10 minutes or so he'd cough, ending with a hack/retch. We, at the time, were unable to take him to the vet. Then one night, he was laying on his side when he started howling, as he would if we left him alone (as if he were anxious, or something), so I ran over to check on him and he was laying on his side. He was in no pain whatsoever. I propped him up, he coughed once, and then went on his way. Ever since, he has been unable to get up when he lays down on his side. Soon afterwards, he started having some breathing problems. He sounded raspy/crackly when he breathed. When that started happening, we took him to the vet with the help of a family member. He got 3 meds that we started having to give him daily. Baytril tabs, 68mg once a day; Prednisone 20mg, one half tablet for 7 days, one quarter tablet for 7 days and then one quarter tablet every OTHER day for 7 days; and Theophylline 100mg, one tablet twice daily. We continued this for a week and had our scheduled check-up. At this point, he was not improving. His breathing hadn't improved, if not worsened. She said she wanted to give him one more prescription, Furosemide 50mg, one half tablet every 12 hours. He's been taking that for a few days now (probably 3 or 4, I don't remember), and since then- I'm not sure if this is because of the medication- his condition has RAPIDLY gotten worse. He's now unable to stand up and walk, his back legs constantly give out, his eyes are open wide, looking alert but zoned out, sometimes eats and sometimes drinks. He now constantly breathes very heavily, as if he can't catch his breath at all. We have to pick him up to take him outside to pee, and when we bring him back in, if he tries to stand up, he just falls over onto his side again. The cough is long gone, but the breathing problems persist and his condition just seems to be worsening greatly. He has lost weight since this began. I can feel his spine now, but I can't see his ribs.

When I turn the PC on, the light comes on as if it's powering up (same with the little green light in the back), but the monitor just says 'self test check your pc' etc. The light on the mouse doesn't come on, the keyboard lights don't come on, the wireless USB connector's light doesn't come on, and it's as if it's not powering anything that's connected to it. I think the fans are going but I'm not 100% sure. We've tried powering it on and off and we're going to double check that the plugs are all plugged in correctly, but otherwise, we don't know what to do. It worked just fine about 12 hours ago. So I don't know what happened.

I didn't even spill a lot of water, maybe a tablespoon, on my LG500, and ran to get some paper towels. Came back, I can unlock it, but the screen is white. If I press buttons, I hear noises, and in fact (I haven't tried) I could PROBABLY make a phone call. So it's functioning just fine, ASIDE from the screen. The screen stays white, and refuses to show anything. Booted it up and shut it down a couples times, works fine like I said (the screen does dim and brighten as it's supposed to), just. Doesn't display anything. Any help?

I have a miniature laptop that's a few years old and was passed on to me from my dad. He rarely used it, though, and he doesn't remember the admin password. As such, I can't use system restore or make a clean install. It doesn't have a CD drive, and I don't have a USB stick, otherwise I'd try doing it that way. Are there any ways to make a clean install without having the admin password or a Win 7 CD?

Also, is there any way I could possibly download a password cracking software onto an SD card and use that, or would it have to be a USB stick? Thanks.

About 10 minutes ago, I loaded up a game of Team Fortress 2. My computer, in general, is a teensy tiny bit slow when I'm not really doing anything unless I have a fan blowing on it. Then it speeds up enough for me to play games. However, when I start playing something like TF2 or any similar games (ES: Oblivion, Bioshock, Amnesia, Left 4 Dead, etc.) it runs at 40-60 fps for a few minutes and then immediately drops to 3-5 fps. It may or may not jump back up eventually. I have Game Booster running so there's nothing going on in the background, and I most certainly don't have any viruses/malware as I reformatted my computer not too long ago.

I don't have any compressed air so I was only able to use a q-tip when I cleaned out the case this morning. I don't know if that would affect it. It helped for a few hours but it's mostly back to normal again.

I need help finding an equation for a parabola with the focus and (8, -3) and vertex at (5, -3). I only remember how to graph parabolas but I have no idea how to write equations out of. Can you help me, please? If you could show how you do it, that'd be great, so I can pick up on how to do it myself.

When I try to work out log4 (x+3)-log4 x = 3, I get the answer 1/21. See, that's one of the answers on my test but apparently it's wrong. The other options are 3/64, 3/2, and -1/3. Do one of those three sound right? I just don't see it. :/

Also, log3 (x+6)-log3 x=2. The answer I get is 3/4 but apparently that's not right either, even though that's an option.
