Blake mixed 18 barbecue-flavored potato chips with 21 sour cream and chive-flavored potato chips. Two chips were picked at random. What are the odds of selecting one of each flavor?

1 barbecue flavored/39 and 1 sour cream flavored/38, since there are 39 potato chips all together
or it could be the other way around.

You add the number of potato chips you have all together: 39.
Since there are 18 babecue-flavored potato chips, that's 18/39 or about 49% of a chance of selecting that flavor.
Since there are 21 sour cream and chive-flavored potato chips, that's 21/39 or about 54% of a chance of selecting that flavor.

Roughly 1/4.
I think that you have to multiply 18/39 with 21/39.
When you do that, you get 0.248375308.
In fraction form, it's 42/169.
